Garrett Kelly FCA
Director of Finance
Garrett is the Director of Finance with O’Dwyer Real Estate Management. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, having graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from UCD, and a Masters Degree in Accounting from UCD Smurfit Business School. Garrett joined the company 10 years ago and has been a director for six years.
Prior to joining O’Dwyer Real Estate Management, Garrett completed his accountancy training with Ernst & Young and held senior finance positions with Microsoft Ireland and Rabo Bank.
He is charged with all of the financial strategy, oversight and compliance within the organisation, and oversees multi-million-euro service charge budgets, rent collections and the management of client funds. He is also responsible for client reporting, ensuring clients have up-to-date information on their individual property investments.
Director Asset Management
Sam Kirwan is the Director of Asset Management Services with O’Dwyer Real Estate Management. Sam has an Economics Degree and is an Affiliate of the ACCA. He has been with the company for 10 years and has been a director for two years.
Prior to joining O’Dwyer Real Estate Management, Sam worked with Citibank. He speaks German and Spanish.
Sam’s key expertise lies in the strategic management and control of large portfolios of distressed assets. The asset recovery management aspect of the business requires oversight of property related issues, financial management, legal matters, property disposals and client reporting.
Head of Commercial Asset Management
David McCarthy is the Head of Commercial Asset Management with O’Dwyer Real Estate Management. David obtained an honours degree in Building Surveying and has been a Chartered Building Surveyor for over 15 years.
Before joining O’Dwyer, David worked as an Asset Manager with Capita and IBRC and previously as a Chartered Surveyor with Spain Courtney Doyle, where he was involved in large scale development projects. David has extensive experience managing commercial properties through all stages of property acquisition including planning, design, and construction.
Since joining O’Dwyer, his role has been to oversee a multidisciplined asset management team involved in significant property receivership cases across several client platforms.
Director Portfolio Management
Ciara Mulrennan is the Director of Property Management Services with O’Dwyer Real Estate Management. Ciara obtained a maths degree and subsequently qualified as a Civil and Structural Engineer and Chartered Surveyor. She has been a director of the company for over seven years and is a member of the Institute of Engineers of Ireland.
Prior to joining O’Dwyer Real Estate Management, Ciara worked with P. Elliott, Construction, one of the largest civil engineering companies in Ireland on the construction of major civil engineering projects.
Ciara’s key expertise lies in overseeing client assets and the compliance, reporting accounts and systems management required to administer a diverse portfolio of mixed use properties.
Director Facilities Management
John Madden is a qualified engineer with a Master’s Degree in Engineering Management and a member of the Institute of Engineers of Ireland. He has been a director of the company for three years.
Prior to joining O’Dwyer Property Management, John held management positions with one of Ireland’s largest retailers and for a global Facilities Management Company.
John’s key expertise lies in delivering Total Facilities Management Solutions which includes procurement, health and safety, planned preventive maintenance, environmental management and energy auditing.
Facilities Services Manager
Michael Gibbs is M&E Services Manager with O'Dwyer Real Estate Management. Michael is qualified with a degree in Building Services Engineering and is currently studying a Higher Certificate in Facilities and Property Management.
Prior to joining O'Dwyer Real Estate Management Michael was the engineer responsible for the installation of building services within commercial properties for a construction company.
Michael’s key expertise lies in the management and delivery of the highest quality Facilities Maintenance services to ensure both the protection and enhancement of the client assets.
